Your Legacy to End Homelessness

A planned gift from your estate to the Merced County Rescue Mission cements your legacy to end homelessness.  Won’t you consider a bequest to the Mission in your will and estate plan?  For assistance with a bequest or other planned gift, please contact your financial advisor or Dr. Bruce Metcalf, Executive Director at (209)480-3899.

Impact Merced Conference Delayed to Fall 2017

Impact Merced Conference Delayed to Fall 2017

The Mission wants to invite you and your organization to join us in a new venture that the Mission is excited to announce: Impact Merced Conference 2017.

What is Impact Merced Conference?

Impact Merced Conference is a ONE DAY experience filled with worship and Biblical justice by immediately hitting the streets of Merced to engage in 26+ outreaches.  Join us to gather and scatter for this one-day experience of providing FAITH - HOPE - and LOVE to the city of Merced.  United as one body!

26+ Outreaches

As people of FAITH gather on this one day, they will bring HOPE and Christ's LOVE into action to impact this city.  Whether it is putting love into a meal, picking up trash, giving a hug, or having a conversation.

Join Us!

Unlike any other Christian Conference, the Impact Merced Conference integrates faith and works to give every Christian the full experience of God working in and through them. We have a desire to give Christians the platform to serve and activate their faith in real-time. Hear from dynamic Christian leaders and Worship Bands that will inspire you and then immediately go out into the city of Merced and put your faith into motion at one of our outreach sites.

Special Guest

Acclaimed worship leader and Christian recording artist Lincoln Brewster will be treating all attendees to a concert during the evening session of the conference.  Brewster has performed and crafted songs that have helped shape the sound of today’s modern worship while also climbing Christian radio charts. These include global anthems such as “Today Is the Day,” “God YouReign,” “Everlasting God,” “Salvation Is Here” and “The Power of Your Name.”

The Bible says,

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

- John 3:18

How You Can Help:

  1. LEAD: We are in need of Team Leader's to be in charge of one of the 26 + outreaches.  Can your church provide 2 or 3 people to lead an outreach?  We can answer any questions as to what this day will look like and the responsibilities of each Team Leader.  (Training will be provided prior to the event.  Examples include: Street Ministry, Prayer Tent, Food Distribution, etc.)

  2. SERVE: Would people from your congregation come and serve with us?  We can answer any questions you have as to what this day would look like.
